The Lady From Walmart

I had a woman recognize that I had CP from the way I walked tonight Walmart. We exchanged stories, and I found out that her daughter has Spina Bifida. Her daughter’s heel had to be amputated after a surgical team told them that she could “walk like you would do regularly” right after her surgery. She crushed it, and there was nothing they could do. She then told stories of how her daughter is doing now, having a husband, and 1 child being expectant of another. She started talking about how much of a gift we have, that most don’t realize. Thanks, lady at Walmart. You don’t know how much I needed to hear that.
